Our brief from First Group was to help the internal communications team increase engagement across the approx 17,000 staff in the business. To use video as a medium to help communicate a clear, concise and consistant message, from teams at ground level, to managers and MDs, developing two way communication, which was not possible with the traditional paper newsletter.

What we did


Our head of video strategy developed a rolling 12 month plan which had a consistent structure and embodied First’s mantra ‘Better Journey’s for Life’. Our solution hosts the videos to give the internal communications’ team rich analytics, so we can monitor and measure each episode’s performance. From here we can see the overall increase in viewership and most importantly engagement. Our production team travels around the whole of the UK where the business resides to capture the voice of its people.
