We were briefed to design and produce a film which celebrated successful ethnic minority owned businesses.
We filmed and interviewed business owners from Bolton to London across a number of different sectors. The film was well received at the beginning of MSDUK’s two day conference held at Lords cricket ground, London and is giving them more mileage embedded on their website.
Discovery
Our task was to break barriers in perception, that most ethnic minority owned businesses were corner shops and/or small businesses.
Design
We developed the storyboard to feature successful ethnic minority owned business men and women in a contemporary style.
Production
We traveled the length and breadth of the country filming different business people in their own environment.
Capture
The stories behind the business owners was compelling. We captured the stories using techniques such as ‘hero shots.’
Result
The film was well received at the launch of the two day event and when hosted on their website it proved to be a success at inform arming people about minority owned businesses.
